Pacific Venture Club Acquires Seed Financing for Green Away Plant Control

The Pacific Venture Club, an organization that provides resources for entrepreneurs and growth companies, announced today that it has secured seed level financing for environmental startup Green Away Plant Control. “Green Away has secured enough financing to begin operations,” stated PVC President Robert Coleman. “Green Away will continue bringing in investors, but this gives the company a solid start and the ability to begin delivering services.” Initial funding was provided by a private investor.

The Pacific Venture Club exists to facilitate communications, connections, and dealmaking between entrepreneurs and resources of various kinds. It provides a showcase of entrepreneurial ventures, resources for the venture community, and programs of interest to anyone interested in innovation and business ventures. 
It was founded in 1987 by an alliance of business professionals and investors. It was one of the first meeting formats in the San Francisco Bay Area that allowed entrepreneurs to present to funding sources from various arenas: venture capitalists, angel (individual) investors, investment bankers, SBA officials, loan officers, and others.
